Dans le monde de la muséographie, la photogrammétrie (Réf 1 et 2) remporte de plus en plus de succès. C'est en effet une méthode qui permet d'obtenir, assez simplement, une représentation en trois dimensions d'un objet, que celui-ci soit très lourd, très imposant, très petit ou extrêmement fragile.
