Abstract

A digital isometric flattening method for baguette plans (paper plans from the French Ancien Régime supported between two
wooden sticks) has be designed to help the French National Archives in their digital heritage conservation. This flattening
method uses the MicMac photogrammetry software (Rupnik et al., 2017). An end-of-study internship was carried out to
adapt this existing method, evaluate it and transmit it optimally to the National Archives. The National Archives now use
this particular application of MicMac, as well as a photogrammetry protocol allowing them to develop old plans.
